Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC)
is also called lightweight building material. A mixture of quartz sand,
calcined gypsum, lime, cement, water, and aluminum powder, the AAC blocks are
hardened by autoclaving in a saturated steam atmosphere at a temperature of
approx. 180–190-degree C. It is this steam curing that creates the unique
crystalline structure and lends AAC its excellent qualities in comparison to
building materials that are not steam cured. Aac blocks are used for both
buildings and houses as well as interior and exterior construction. it
is a very quick and easy installation process. Users can cut the
block according to their needs by using standard power tools with carbon steel
cutters.
Uses: -
Aac blocks highly recommended for
building because they are very lightweight blocks. it helps to reduce the
weight of the building. Also, use for built housing use as well. these are
highly thermally insulating concrete-based material use for both purpose
interior and exterior construction. Highly recommended for high-rise buildings.
aac blocks require less steel and concrete. Mortar is used for laying of aac
blocks is reduced due to the smaller number of joints. Also, read...
Features: -
• AAC block density is less than one-third of that of normal concrete blocks making it easy to handle.
• The history of usage of AAC Blocks over 50 years and they remain Solid/durable even under extreme weather conditions.
• Lightweight aac blocks are made using modern machinery resulting in products with higher dimensional tolerances.
• AAC Blocks have excellent thermal insulation properties which help in reducing heating and cooling costs.
• AAC blocks have excellent fire-resistant properties.
• Lightweight AAC Blocks has a strength of 3-4 MPa as compared to traditional Clay/Red bricks which have a strength of 1.5 - 2 MPa
• AAC Blocks are an Eco-Friendly green product.
• Water absorption of AAC blocks is relatively lower than others blocks/bricks.
• Reduces construction time by 20%. Easy to install.
Conclusion: - The
summary of AAC Blocks is to kick start the construction industry into a new
world. their maintenance is too easy as well as these are eco-friendly too.

Conecc is a part of NECC group of companies that's into the diversified
business of mining, transportation, hospitality, ready mix concrete, and
precast boundary walls. Conecc found the vision of helping people build their
homes/buildings better, faster & cheaper by use of prime construction
technologies. Conecc AAC blocks are the new generation building blocks that are
more efficient than the traditional blocks or clay bricks. Our blocks are a
green building product as there is no pollution or waste material in the manufacturing process. We are proud members of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). for
